Health in Practice was created to support the people doing the caring — and, when possible, to extend that support to the communities they serve.
Health in Practice is committed to building a business that is both sustainable and mission-driven. That means creating practical health education for professionals in high-stress helping roles while also making space for meaningful community support.
Giving back is an important part of Health in Practice. The goal is not only to support staff well-being, but also to find thoughtful ways to extend practical care to caregivers, families, and communities connected to the organizations we serve.
As part of its mission, Health in Practice sets aside a limited number of complimentary 60-minute workshops each year for selected nonprofit organizations serving high-stress or under-resourced communities. When appropriate, these partnerships may also include practical resources for the people those organizations serve, such as caregiver education, simple wellness handouts, or calm-down and reset tools. This approach allows Health in Practice to stay grounded in both impact and sustainability.
The Practical Health Intensive includes one optional community-support resource for the people your organization serves.
Available options include:
This allows organizations to support staff well-being while also extending practical care to their wider community.
Many organizations care deeply about both staff well-being and the people they serve, but often have limited time, funding, and resources to address both.
Health in Practice was built with that reality in mind. By combining practical staff education with thoughtful give-back options, the goal is to create support that feels useful, realistic, and meaningful.
If your organization is interested in practical health education for staff — and in building support that can extend beyond the workshop itself — I’d be happy to connect.
